The posts on these pages will be a collection of mostly one-page articles written by my father, Jack Briggs. Many were printed in a newsletter at his senior living place and have the heading of his column, “One Day at a Time”.
While many of his articles were printed for the newsletter, others were simply handed out to his friends and neighbors. I witnessed him pick from a sort of “filing system” in a basket on the front of his mobility scooter and give random pages to people he met during the day. This site is a home for his works that are more accessible to all. Above is the foreword he wrote for his collection.
